Entries will be judged in the following categories:
DETAIL
This refers to colors mostly. You don't have to be a good artist to have a chance.
ORIGINALITY
This refers to pose mostly. Plain old 'just standing there''s will lose points.
ACCURACY
This refers to how well your drawing matches what the character actually looks like. You won't lose points if your drawing is inaccurate because the references provided are missing detail or are inaccurate themselves. I will assume you used all references provided. If something you want to draw about a character is missing from the references, make it up, you won't lose points. In fact it may even become the next reference. If you nail it dead on with inadequate references(I know some have crappy references) then you will receive bonus points.
The part you all really want to know about...
PRIZES
1-4 Entries: $30 worth of dA stuff; whatever you choose.
5-10 Entries: $45 worth of dA stuff; whatever you choose.
11+ Entries: $60 worth of dA stuff; whatever you choose, and a second prize of $30 worth of dA stuff; whatever you choose, for second place.
"dA stuff" refers to Subscriptions, Premium Print Accounts, Merch and Prints
When you complete an entry, NOTE it to me! I'll judge it in a comment on your entry. I'll also add it to my favs, because it will no doubt be amazing.
Feel free to comment on my journal or page if you have questions or... comments. "
